    Loose seat

I have an issue where both my driver and passenger seats work their way loose. I was reading where people say that they shim the seats by the L bracket. Can anyone elaborate on this? What is being used for this? The boat is a 2013 Z520.

also to note…the seats sit directly on the gas tanks. It seems that when the tanks expand from heat that it actually lifts the seats a little. I believe this may be causing the thru bolts holding the seat in place to work free and enlarge the drill holes. Has anyone else seen this or came up with a good way to permanently fix it?

That tank should NEVER expand !! It's a vented system. I'd replace the cap ASAP.

Is the cap where the fuel take vent is located?

Mines loose as well. Tried several times to tighten it.

I was able to re-attach with some larger screws. The issue is that the fiberglass where the screws mount is not very thick so they will most likely work their way loose again. I also bought some toggle bolts to use if that happens. The only issue with this is that I will need to drill a pretty large hole to allow to expanding part to pass thru the fiberglass. I didn't want to go that route unless completely necessary.
