    Tool holder for the boat

Hi I’m looking for a smallish tool holder to mount in the boat. Looking to hold a forceps and scissor in the step up area to the main deck. Anyone have recommendations?

All the tackle shops sell them I’ve seen some on eBay where people are printing them out and selling them for a fair price also.

We used the Rapala version on our previous boat. This is the 2-tool set up. it can be mounted with screws or double-sided tape. We had no issue of it pulling away when we used the double-sided tape.

I had one already in my bassboat but made one for my tin boat. Had some 1/16" X 2" aluminum angle, cut a 4" piece of it and then cut a couple of 1" holes with a hole saw and put some rubber grommets in the holes that I got at Menards for like $1 each. Ground down the corners so they wouldn't catch on anything.

I know a nice one is only about $30-$40 but I had the materials and it works great. I drilled some holes around the edges to hang baits too.

I use that packing foam so that I can fit them tight for my tools. Hot glue in place.

Rear earth magnetic block. Grainger has them. Cover it in Caron wrap and attach to the side of the console. Looks better to me than the tool holders. The one I have is rated to pull 47lbs and the tools have never fallen off of it.

If I had to pick one, it would be that really small one from Two and a Half men. The one who was Alan's receptionist. Dated Charlie first then Alan. Had the brownie cooking mom.

I like the Rapala one. I mounted it with GOOD double sided tape.
