E tec leaking oil
I have a 2019 150 horse power. Model E150 DGL ABL S/N 5553492 Is leaking oil from the intake tubes. what could cause this. I notice this when the motor is sitting in garage not trimmed up. Thanks Dennis

What are you referencing as “intake tubes”? Do you mean the air intake on the front of the intake manifold? Some oil is expected but lots of oil would indicate over oiling caused by air leak on the suction side of the oil pump running to the in boat oil supply tank.

Thanks for looking at my post.It is the intake manifold. The engine only has 7Hours of run time most of that running under 1500 rpm. I cant get the air box off looks like you need to remove the lower cowling. the motor runs good. wonder if its the low rpm run time. Thanks

With only 7 hours the engine is still in breakin mode. The engine double oils itself for 10 hrs. And the 1500 rpm is not helping to scavenge the extra oil through the combustion chamber
