    Dale or Cumberland

I'm taking a friend from PA fishing toward the end of September and am wondering which lake might get us more bites? We will have a Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday morning to try and get on some fish. It's been a couple years since I've been on Cumberland and even longer since I've been on Dale Hollow. I know they're both excellent lakes, but if one might have a little bit easier bite, we would obviously prefer that one. We may end up fishing both since they're so close together (probably going to stay in Albany) but any insight will be helpful.

Tough call... You could get into striper action on topwater/spook early and late at Cumberland, it's a blast. I would lean towards Cumberland since it has all that new shallow brush from when it was low.

    Good luck

HH45cal - that's an interesting take. I do have FFS and am just beginning to learn/use it, but I'm not sure what makes DH a FFS lake?

I appreciate all the info guys. Definitely going to stay in Somerset and fish Cumberland. And going to focus on Burnside to Conley Bottom. If we should look at other areas let me know.
