Looking at a new 2023 z20 at bass pro.

So this boat has been at my local bps for 2 years. I’ve been in it many times on the show room floor. It’s got lots of options. 250, 1 12” and 1 9” graft, lives not pros unfortunately. Ultrex, Atlas hyd jack plate. Glass fenders, upgrade wheel package. Radio, TH marine oxygen pucks in both live wells, center seat, smartcraft gauges. Hot foot
last Sunday yesterday I talked with the sales guy and he was going to see what he could do on price today he called and is at $67,700..what do you guys think there’s a big hit for buying a 2yr old boat for me.

I also see pros choice has 2 2024’s listed at $55,900. There don’t have as many options but really the only thing I really like on the 23 at bps is the hyd jack plate and the color is nice (blk and blue) the 23 also has one 12” HDS and I have one 12” live on my z18 that I will keep. Means I will only need to buy 2 more 12” lives Lol.

Not thought on if that 2023 is over priced? Just wondering and enjoy the conversation.

Thanks so much for the response!! I think there to high as well. They say at bass pro that they don’t set the price. It is tracker marine? It could be try but how does pros choice in Missouri sell then so cheap?

yes it’s set up well. Some things I like, like the hyd jack plate, nice wheels. I don’t really care for fiberglass fenders but oh- well.

I"ve got a loaded one close to that on the nitros for sale page w/extended warranty. Not sure about Iowa, but several states there's no sales tax on a used one.

I’ll check it out. Yes we have to pay tax on it at the court house.

So I took my 2017 z18 to bps today and they did there trade appraisal in the service shop. Everything thing tested out great and they were Surprised how nice it was and everything worked…. I fish every weekend guys and take care of my boat. It only had 190hr on it. I would have thought I put more on it than that. There still at the 67k but they through the Mercury gold in for free. I’ll find out Monday what they will give me for a trade. Right now I don’t think we will be close enough unless they dump a bunch of $$$ in my boat and that’s what I told them too. But this is BPS and there not going to do that. This is what the stick says now but I have them at 67k any more Comments Or advice from you guys?? I know I will be putting 10ft poles on one 16”HDS and one more 12” plus 2 active target 2. So a lot more money. I asked about a big discount on Electronics and accessories so he was going to ask about that as well. But again it’s BPS and they don’t do that I bet

You'll never get much on a trade in anywhere. They have to resell and make a profit. Your best bet is to sell outright and find a team boat that has the options you're wanting. Plenty out there as boat sales have been way down this year.

Yes you are very right. I’ll see what the numbers look like early this week. Most likely I’ll just keep what I have it does everything really need. I did a little more research and bass pro in Des moine had too 2023 z20’s not as many options so cheaper but still over priced for a 2 year old boat. The salesman at the Des moine store knows it too.

Well got the number back and bps would give me 20k for my z18 not as bad as it could have been. That put the z20 at 48k before tax.
