    Lithium for CX20?

Looking at a CX20. Will using Lithium batteries affect performance? With gas tank moved forward, will it be too light in the stern? Several other boats I know of run better with weight in the rear. So 4 group 31 AGM’s or all lithium? Thanks for advice!

I put lithium's in my CX 20 when I got it new, absolutely runs like a top with them, no performance issues at all, I wouldn't think twice about buying lithium's again in my Caymas.

Owned my cx 20 since 2020. I've ran nothing but lithium battery's. My boat runs very well, but I think it may run better with lead batteries. I say this bc I run out of trim. I added a 2 degree positive wedge and it helped with lift. My next purchase will be a power pole move loosing some nose wieght. I've ran 2 different worked props that also helped, but threw an ear just over a year of use. I now run a stock tempest 25.

Mostly likely it will but you can add some weight to the back to help with that.
