    Thanks for the link. While I don't have FB, I do enjoy reading on their website about their field studies they publish about deer movement etc.

    This is a very strange "study." Are they trying to gauge the preconceived notions of hunters before they undertake a definitive study?

    That sounds like a good guess.

    They have alot of movement data already so maybe this new study is a meta analysis comparing their data to moonphases. Maybe they want to see what percentage of hunters think the moon affects buck movement, and how much of an affect hunters think it has, to guage the value of a new study about the moon. No point in having an intern spend months of analysis on something that very few hunters think about.
