    Salmon River Reservoir ?

    Later inmonth of Sept is the lake lowered down and is it still okay to fish, which ramp to use for fiberglass bass boat and anything else we should know. I understand that theres alot of dinks, maybe combine with a trip to Onedia , we were told its a fun lake to fish. THANKS guys

    Redfield can be a very fun lake to fish, and likes to eat props when the waters low. My club had a tournament there a few weeks ago, the winner had 16lbs of largemouth which is unheard of for that place. Usually if you have 12lbs you have a great chance to win. Best ramp is on County Rt 17. They pull the dock when the water drops so you’re beaching the boat and more times than not you’re launching on sand because the drop in water goes past the concrete ramp. Typical smallmouth patterns play like jigs, jerkbaits, swimbaits ned rigs etc. Very pretty lake in the fall too
