Wait....what? The BPT isn't even fishing Westpoint....so Wheeler wasn't fishing that tournament. Am I wrong?
He didn't have a ton of weight the first day, but he was late to weigh-in by almost 10 minutes.
It was a Tackle Warehouse Invitational and he was fishing it.
A lot of BPT anglers fish other stuff. The Toyotas, NPFLS, BFL etc. Becker just won another BFL on Dale Hollow over the weekend.

Good Explanation…..I believe it why not get a Good Tax Write Off while doing some quality practicing in Tournament Conditions while making a public appearance at a Fishing Event instead of a Boat and Tackle Show.
He was also being an ambassador for the MLF sending home all those other aspiring Anglers home knowing they finished ahead of Wheeler at the end of the Tournament. He is encouraging them to keep fishing the TW Series and buying products. They wouldn’t feel as good if he had smoked the field and took their money.
Sure appreciate you sharing the inside information on this hopefully you’ll post more of it in the future when questions like this need to be answered
