It’s been brought up on a number of occasions. Each day of the tournament there was a thread about it, there was no less than 3 regarding the pros fishing it, and quite a few others when the news first broke.

over under would be 9 threads on the TAA

Those Johnston boys have been jumping into tourneys and driving off with the lunch money since they were teens.

Also very lucky that Randy didn't pony up the 5K entry

The very first BFL I ever fished was in 2015 on the St Lawrence and Cory Johnston won. I remember my boater looking at me and saying “whenever the brothers enter a tournament, most everyone is basically fishing for 3rd place”.

So of the final top 10, 80% of them our either on BPT, Elites, or Opens. Give them FFS they catch them, take it away they catch them...

This was mostly a spawn and sight fishing tournament. FFS was not needed to do well regardless of if they normally use it or not.
