I have vertigo and i take Meclizine when i go out
There is an item called Sea Bands. They are work on your wrist and prevent sea sickness. Got a pair for the wife and she did not get sick. Prior all she had to do was look at the water. No drugs involved
Dramamine makes me sleep like a baby....I've taken it a few times one my first few trips on Erie, then realized I don't get motion sickness and stopped taking it and could stay awake during the whole trip!!! LOL

Not sure if you already found something however, Tansderm Scop patches are for motion sickness. Pretty sure you still need a prescription for them. Scopolamine is one of the brand names I believe. Very effective.
